I needed a refresher and this is a great review book for gen chemistry. Learned several new things I either forgot or never learned from chemistry class. Well-written and easy to understand.
The book is well written and covers all the topics listed by AMCAS as testable on the MCAT. I learned alot from this book. I used it along with the Sterling gen chem practice questions to be sure that I knew the material. Great coverage of general chemistry and I developed a solid foundation from this book that I could apply to practice questions and practice passages. I compared this book to several of my friends' books that had material from several other publishers. By far, this book covers more material and is easy to understand. A great choice for gen chem review.
The book does a great job of covering the content of general chemistry for the MCAT. I learned from this book and was able to apply the new information to solving problems. A must have for the MCAT. I bought the biology and biochemistry review from Sterling and like it as much. Both books are excellent. Much more content - and presented in a more clear fashion - than some of the other prep books (some of which I bought used and ignored them when I started to compare the content to this book) but still clear and easy to understand the learning points.
I love the content within the product, but it came physically disgusting. I had to scrape what appeared t be gum reside off of it which is odd since it is a brand new product.
Great content review for gen chem. Refreshed my memory and learned several new gen chem concepts. Great overview of the material. I applied the concepts to questions in the practice chemistry question book.
I took the April MCAT and I needed information I learned from this gen chemistry review book. My tutor suggested Sterling Prep. We worked through the problems and concepts together. I'm happy with my score and I highly recommend these books.
